Transfers are subject to staff approval.

Any qualified student with a medically verified disability is entitled by law to reasonable accommodations according to the Americans with Disabilities Act. Reasonable accommodations should be requested on a voluntary, self-identifying basis. Services are available after a student has presented certified, current documentation of the disability from an appropriate medical or educational specialist, and this documentation has been reviewed and accepted as complete. Any student requesting accommodations for any reason should direct their request to the Disability Services Offices, which is located in the Wellness Center in F201H (dso@calarts.edu), at least one month prior to the start of the program in which they are enrolled to allow necessary time to review requests and to implement accommodations. Check out the Disability Services webpage at https://calarts.edu/disability-services for more information.
Students are not permitted to audit courses at this time.
Occasionally, situations arise in which CalArts might have to cancel class, limit class size, change times, substitute instructors, or make other changes to course offerings. Any necessary substitutions or changes will be made with the intent of maintaining or enhancing the original purpose and integrity of the offering. In the event that CalArts cancels a program, enrolled participants will receive a full refund of tuition paid. Application fees and certain special request fees are non-refundable.
