This course is offered online by Minneapolis College of Art and Design (MCAD) Continuing Education.

Students 18 and up are encouraged to apply.

Learn the basics of Figma, a versatile cloud-based prototyping software that offers the opportunity to explore web, graphic, and UI/UX design in a practical and user-friendly environment. Figma is a collaborative user interface design tool to create interactive mobile app and website prototypes, (i.e. a clickable or interactive design). This introductory course is designed to familiarize students with the basic tools and techniques used to develop a Figma prototype. Create small app prototypes to view and share on multiple devices. Play with interactive animations and collaborate with designers using FigJam. All class activities come together in a mini website/app with interactivity like slide in menus and modal windows.
