Your SSO, or Single-Sign On, is your key to accessing multiple CalArts and Extended Studies applications. This includes Canvas, Pyramed, Accommodate, and more. Visit this link to read more about accessing your SSO.

Once enrolled in our program, you will receive a CalArts Extended Studies email address. This will be our primary method of communication throughout your time in our program. If you have not received your CalArts email address information, please contact CAIT or Extended Studies.

California Institute of the Arts requires that students submit the following proof of immunizations:

• Two (2) doses of MMR
• Tuberculosis screening
• One (1) dose of Meningitis

Students attending any on-campus programs are welcome to bring their car to campus. Please visit our Campus Safety office when you arrive to campus to register your vehicle. For more information regarding parking on CalArts campus, please visit our CalArts Parking page.

Students attending any on-campus programs will be issued a Student ID Badge. CalArts IT will reach out to you to provide a photo to be used on your ID. Your badges will be given to you upon check-in.

Packages can be sent and received from our CalArts Mailroom, located on the first floor of the main building across from Campus Safety. Students will be asked to show photo identification to receive any mail. Summer hours for the mailroom are Monday-Thursday from 8:00am-4:30pm, and are closed from 12:30pm-01:30pm for lunch.

There is not a meal plan associated with this program. Students living on campus have access to grocery stores and restaurants within walking distance of campus. Residential students are encouraged to plan meals with their apartment suite mates. < On-campus Steve's Cafe will be open for limited services Monday-Thursday from 8:30am-2:00pm. This is place where students have access to a selection of grab-and-go food options.

The Ahmanson suites are apartment style living where each student has their own room with a communal kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, sink, and basic cookware, dishes, and cutlery. All art supplies and materials needed for the program will be provided for you. You are welcome to bring your personal art supplies to draw on your own time.
